“Relationships are everything and everything is relationship.” Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983)

Carol is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia who works with individuals, couples and families providing relational and attachment-focused interventions. Carol supports her clients in creating and sustaining healthy relationships with their partners, family members, children, friends, and co-workers resulting in a greater sense of satisfaction in life. She also supports her clients in understanding themselves within the context of depression, anxiety, stress, parenting difficulties, and the evolution of life’s circumstances.

Our sense of belonging and how we see ourselves in the world depends greatly on our experiences in our family of origin. Working from an attachment theory framework, Carol supports her clients in increasing their self-awareness and self-acceptance within the context of relationships.

As a family therapist, Carol enjoys working with parents, and coaching them to create and maintain parent-child relationships that are harmonious and mutually satisfying. Her belief in the power of empathy. validation and setting limits have inspired parents of younger children to search for alternatives to traditional discipline strategies that might work in the short term but are less effective than teaching self-regulation and intrinsic motivation. Therapeutic modalities utilized include emotionally focused therapy for individuals, couples, and families (EFT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), relational life therapy (RLT), mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), Somatic Mind Body Healing, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and child parent relationship therapy (CPRT). Carol also has significant training in supporting both adults and children who have experienced traumatic events.

In addition to her private practice, Carol has worked extensively in not-for-profits in the field of adoption. Her own journey as an adoptive parent began in 2005. Through the experience of becoming a mother, she discovered a passion for helping caring adults better understand the meaning of their child’s behaviour, thus providing a voice for their innermost thoughts and feelings.

Alex is passionate about empowering individuals to have the tools, resources, and perspectives they need to live their best life. Her background in Counselling Psychology and teaching at university has allowed her to expand people’s horizons and equip them to move into the next season of their lives. She loves to see those “lightbulb moments” when theory or ideas can be put into action and lived out tangibly in real life. When she completed her Masters’ Thesis on the impact of losing a loved one on career decision making, she realized that many “pivotal” moments or experiences can shape who we become, the path we decide to take, and who we invite to journey with us. She recognizes the value of these momentous experiences and finds that midlife offers a significant threshold inviting us to consider how we want to meaningfully invest in the last half of our lives.

At InHabit.Life, Alex is known for her warmth, contagious joy, and spirit of hospitality that allows clients to engage authentically and in a non-judgmental space. She is a seasoned professor and her background in teaching human flourishing helps her guide clients to move beyond just managing negative emotions towards greater thriving.

I believe midlife is one of life’s most beautiful—and sometimes challenging—invitations. It’s a time to reconnect with who we truly are and to move forward with renewed purpose. With over 25 years in leadership development, coaching, and facilitation across multiple continents, I’ve seen firsthand the magic that unfolds when people lean into this season with curiosity and courage.

At InHabit Life, I have the privilege of facilitating select coaching circles and one-on-one sessions where people feel safe to be vulnerable, brave enough to grow, and empowered to lead themselves authentically. My goal is to help others uncover their strengths, examine limiting patterns, and imagine what’s possible when they lead from a place of truth and self-discovery.

A storyteller at heart, I understand the transformative power of the conversations we live in and how they shape our lives. My own journey has been one of crafting and recrafting my narrative, and I’m passionate about helping others do the same. As a certified Solutions-Focused Coach and experienced facilitator, I bring a blend of playfulness, professionalism, and insight to each session. I hold a degree in Religious Studies and a certificate in Project Management and have spent over two decades leading teams and developing leaders in both the private and public sectors.

Outside of work, I cherish life’s adventures with my husband of 27 years, our three active boys, two cats, and a dog. Together, let’s shape a future that feels like coming home—honoring midlife’s call to pause, let go of what no longer serves us, and make space for what deeply resonates.

Along the path of human experience, life can bring you to your knees.

Life changes can be disorienting and painful—whether it’s the loss of a loved one, starting anew, or feeling trapped by expectations. While we all have the capacity to thrive, a therapist’s support can help you tap into your inner needs and reconnect to the healthy self within.

My clients tend to be bright and accomplished people who look like they’ve got it together on the outside, but inwardly struggle with anxiety, insecurity and a sense of feeling stuck.

With warmth, empathy and humour, I will work collaboratively with you to address the challenges you are facing. This may involve harnessing forgotten inner strengths, understanding old patterns that no longer serve, or finding new coping skills and ways of relating to yourself and others. I support my clients to open up to life’s contradictions and to accept that pain and joy and purpose can, and do, live side by side.

I have lived experience with loss, unrealized dreams, and chronic illness. I know what it is like to struggle with loneliness, grief, fear and anger. I also know what it is like to create more openness and calm inside, in order to live and relate with greater ease and connection.

Counselling is my second career – after years of feeling unfulfilled and seeking more meaning and purpose in my work, I took the leap in my 30’s and trained to become a therapist. I hold a masters in Counselling Psychology, and have worked at several leading agencies, health authorities, non-profit counselling services, and private clinics.

At Inhabit.life Peggy, brings a direct and compassionate approach to the counselling space and look forward to supporting you in your journey towards healing and growth.

The common thread of my career is my passion for people. Throughout decades in senior corporate roles, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding how to bring out the best in others. My journey has been one of continuous learning—reading, studying, and most importantly, creating cultures where people can shine.

Trying to understand others inevitably leads to self-reflection. This introspection took on new depth when I lost four family members in heartbreaking circumstances over 18 months. It brought home the reality that life is finite—a realization that often coincides with midlife, opening the door to transformation. I don’t call this a midlife crisis; it’s a midlife awakening! It’s life tapping us on the shoulder, reminding us, “This is not a dress rehearsal.”

While this awakening can feel daunting, I promise that the willingness to sit with the discomfort of self-discovery is a journey you’ll never regret. This journey is at the heart of my coaching practice. I believe you have all the answers to regain clarity about your true identity. Life may have led you to tuck these answers away to fit in, but midlife isn’t about fitting in—it’s about belonging.

My passion lies in guiding others through this transformative experience. I’m committed to helping you uncover your authentic self and embrace the possibilities that midlife presents. Together, we’ll navigate this awakening, turning potential discomfort into opportunities for growth and fulfillment.

Let’s embark on this journey of rediscovery and purpose. It’s time to awaken to your true potential.

My journey has taught me that midlife is this pivotal season—a time to really get honest, to look inward, and to decide how we want to lead ourselves forward. After two decades guiding leaders in health, education, and the private sector, I’ve seen how powerful it is when people commit to leading themselves with clarity and courage.

A few years back, I developed the Saskatchewan Leadership Program, a coaching initiative that reshaped healthcare culture and won national recognition. Through that experience, I learned that true leadership isn’t just about guiding others; it’s about leading ourselves first—knowing who we are, what we value, and finding the courage to live that truth every day. Now, my focus is on helping people navigate midlife with intention. Using a strengths-based approach grounded in emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and neuroscience, I work with individuals who are ready to dig deep. Together, we’ll look at your values, examine what’s no longer serving you, and build a foundation for leading yourself well, through both the joys and challenges of this season.

Midlife is a time to get clear, to connect with purpose, and to create a life that feels true. I’m here to help you step forward with compassion and courage, ready to lead yourself into a chapter filled with meaning, authenticity, and strength. Because when we learn to lead ourselves well, everything else follows.‍

My name is Lance Odegard and my work is mostly about creating excuses to be a people enthusiast.

I’ve spent my working life learning people. People-centered work has been at the heart of things over the last twenty years, collaborating with people as an artist, college instructor, communications director, pastor, design facilitator, and coach. Throughout these multidisciplinary pursuits, I’ve had a singular focus on seeing people get unstuck, build their creative confidence, and take their next step.

The most challenging part of working with the creative potential of people (my own and others’) is stuckness. It’s when ‘resistance’, as Steven Pressfield calls it, gets in the way. Or it’s the way tiny acts of self-sabotage stack up, creating ‘the mountain is you’ as Brianna Wiest writes. And it’s certainly the pain of bearing an ‘untold story inside of you’, as Maya Angelou teaches us.

Stuckness is the arch nemesis of creativity. It’s the shadow, the self-limiter, the snuffer of good ideas. There are just too many things to get stuck in:

comparison decision paralysis who you used to be someone else’s version of success waiting for permission limiting beliefs your head career treadmills a creative cul de sac boredom scarcity See also, mid-life.

This is why coaching can be so transformative—particularly in midlife. The heart of coaching is a creative act; it’s co-creating your future. You can find your future by design or by default. There’s the future you drift into by default—the one you will eventually arrive in due to little consciousness or creativity. And there’s another future by design—the one you could co-create with clarity and commitment.

I work with the creative potential of people as a Certified Professional Coach, primarily in the areas of creativity, leadership development, and transitions. People describe me as transparent, non-anxious, playful, thoughtful, and empathetic in my coaching style. Having been through a number of career re-inventions and seasons of transition, I’ve learned how to get unstuck many times!

It’s my joy to partner with people in the midst of change. By giving you a conversational space with high compassion + high challenge, you will work through your blocks, combat fear with curiosity, unfurl your thoughts, co-create strategy, and find tangible momentum forward.

Outside of work I’m a husband, father of four, writer, friend and neighbour in the Strathcona/DTES of Vancouver BC, avid Oilers and Raptors fan, and lover of all the things that make up a good dinner party — story, hospitality, people.

Welcome to the second half—a time when experience fuels you, but the desire for more still calls. My first half was all about building, scaling, and leading in business, recruitment, marketing, coaching. I spent over three decades in these worlds, working with iconic brands like lululemon, Nintendo, and Best Buy, leading teams, and expanding businesses across continents. I loved it, but as I moved through it, I started noticing something: the work that really mattered wasn’t about market share or mergers. It was about people. It was about creating something that sticks.

So I sold my business and went back to school. I jumped into a master’s in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching, driven by one question: How can we transform midlife into an opportunity, not just an endpoint? There’s this incredible, untapped potential at this stage—a chance to rewrite the story, to move forward with purpose and clarity.

Here’s what I’ve found: midlife isn’t a crisis; it’s a launchpad. Think of it as the ultimate pivot point. It’s where you take everything you’ve learned and use it to do work that truly matters to you. In my years in leadership recruitment, I noticed that the best leaders—the ones who make a lasting impact—seek out guidance, coaching, and community. They don’t go it alone, and neither should we.

And that’s why I created InHabit.Life™. This isn’t just another program; it’s an ecosystem built for those ready to lean into midlife with purpose. Through coaching, cohort-based learning, retreats (or “advances”), and therapeutic support, we’re building a space for people who want to navigate midlife on their terms, surrounded by others who get it. It’s about showing up fully, rethinking what’s possible, and engaging in work and life with a renewed sense of meaning.

If you’re ready to explore this season not as something to “get through” but as something to invest in, InHabit.Life is here for you. Midlife is an open door—let’s walk through it together. This is your chance to make the work and life you want, to do something that matters.
